My Journey

Like most naturally curly people, I went to salons that didn't specialize in curly hair. For years, I received a perm, because I had no idea that I actually had curly hair.

When a hairstylist friend recognized the passion I had for naturally curly hair, she challenged me to leave my nursing career to pursue a career as a curly hair stylist.

After reading "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey, I knew that I wanted to be part of the movement to change the world's view of curly hair.

Since then, I have been to cosmetology school, received advanced training from an academy specializing in curly hair care, and I have been pursuing my dream one curl at a time. 

My hair and my life have never looked more fabulous. I can't wait to show you what your true curl potential could be.
